How is DSP billed in m19?
The two DSP invoices (Amazon media, m19 fee), what is not billed, and the overdue Amazon invoice alert.
Two fees, two invoices
- Amazon invoices the media. The ad spend (CPM) is invoiced by Amazon to the advertiser's billing profile, the one entered in the request form. m19 never pays Amazon on your behalf. Amazon's own platform fee is part of that invoice and appears in the Fee and Supply Cost columns of the stats. For advertisers on the m19 seat, Amazon invoices are mirrored in Settings > Amazon Invoices.
- m19 invoices its DSP fee. 3% of the DSP ad spend for an advertiser on the m19 seat, or 1% of the m19-managed DSP spend when you use your own seat. The fee is separate from the Sponsored Ads fee of your plan, is shown when DSP automation is activated on a marketplace, and is added to your m19 invoice.
What is not billed
- There is no minimum DSP budget and no minimum fee: you set the budget of each strategy yourself.
- DSP is not available during the free trial, so no DSP fee applies to a trial account.
- With your own seat, m19 only bills the spend of the campaigns it manages. Campaigns you run directly in the Amazon console are not counted.
Overdue Amazon invoice
If an Amazon DSP invoice is overdue, the board shows a blocking alert on the DSP page and your strategies stop delivering until the invoice is paid. The invoice is paid to Amazon, following the payment instructions in the invoice document.

If a strategy is active but shows no impressions and no invoice is overdue, see My DSP strategy is not delivering, what should I check?.
